Labor broking is a form of outsourcing practiced in Zimbabwe where companies contract labor brokers to provide them with labor. The Labor Broker manages temporary recruitment services, which includes and is not limited to the deployment, supervision and development of employees for client specific appointments. The Specialist will be responsible moreover for overseeing and handling particular organization/industry functions such as payroll/administration, employee benefits and attendance. The overall objective is to formulate and implement strategic staffing solutions for clients and to ensure that designated human capital optimize business performance.
How Do We Do Broking
- We collaborate with key clientele to assess hiring needs for the establishment.
- We Liaise with Branch offices to manage the entire recruitment process for permanent, temporary and temp-to-hire vital placements.
- We identify suitable channels/methods for publicizing vacancies and identifying suitable personnel. e.g via online platforms, job boards.
- We Schedule screening sessions for potential suitors for various placement opportunities to affirm if they possess the necessary attributes and skill sets to perform satisfactorily on the job.
- We Conduct and administer training and assessments sessions to equip/prepare novice recruits.
- We present preferred or selected candidates to Staffing Departments and schedule orientation and on boarding meetings in accordance with client requirements and specifications.
- We Maintain and safeguard employee files and their individual confidential documentations (work history, testing/assessment results, leave and benefits).
- We Oversee temporary employee relations, respond to employee specific enquiries and handle escalations.
- We Ensure compliance and safety requirements are adhered to and that injury investigations are carried out timeously and resolved amicably in accordance with NSSA guidelines.
- We Direct and administer quality performance reviews.
- We Support recruiting and/or sales in the development of existing accounts and follow up on client leads.
- We perform additional ad-hoc requirements/assignments when required.
